We use regeneratively grown, non-GMO lupini beans that are not sprayed with glyphosate. In addition, we use a third party lab to independently test our pasta and rice regularly for glyphosate. These recent third party lab tests have confirmed "not detected" for glyphosate.

Allergens
We produce our products in a dedicated gluten free facility. We do not use any of the top 8 allergens, with the exception of the mac and cheese (which uses dairy). Lupini beans are a legume belonging to the same plant family as peanuts. We would recommend you consult with your doctor before consuming any new food product, including Kaizen.Gluten-Free Certified

All of our products, including the pasta, rice, mac and cheese, and lupin flour, are certified Kosher by Oregon Kosher. -
In short, instead of regular flour or semolina, we use lupini bean flour! Lupini beans are versatile, low in carbs, and have a great nutrition profile. They have long been considered a superfood and pack a ton of protein, fiber, and nutrients.

For Pasta:
Kaizen cooks a lot faster than regular pasta, in anywhere from 4-6 minutes. This time varies by shape, so please reference the packaging instructions, make sure you boil in generously salted water, and not overcook! We invite you to experiment with cooking times to find the right cook time for you and your family.
For Rice:
Kaizen cooks a lost faster than regular rice! Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add a generous amount of salt, add Kaizen rice, and cook for 5-6 minutes. -
