  • We use regeneratively grown, non-GMO lupini beans that are not sprayed with glyphosate. In addition, we use a third party lab to independently test our pasta and rice regularly for glyphosate. These recent third party lab tests have confirmed "not detected" for glyphosate.

  • Top 8 Allergen Free
    We produce our products in a dedicated gluten free facility and do not use any of the top 8 allergens. Lupini beans are a legume belonging to the same plant family as peanuts. We would recommend you consult with your doctor before consuming any new food product, including Kaizen.

    We test our products regularly, our recent independent 3rd party lab testing was not able to detect the presence of any glyphosates in our pasta or rice products.

    We have a lot of customers with diabetes that enjoy our products and have not had any reports of spiked blood sugars. As always, consult your doctor to determine if a particular food is right for you.

    Our products are certified Kosher by Oregon Kosher.

  • In short, instead of regular flour or semolina, we use lupini bean flour! Lupini beans are versatile, low in carbs, and have a great nutrition profile. They have long been considered a superfood and pack a ton of protein, fiber, and nutrients.

  • For Pasta:
    Kaizen cooks a lot faster than regular pasta, in anywhere from 4-6 minutes. This time varies by shape, so please reference the packaging instructions, make sure you boil in generously salted water, and not overcook! We invite you to experiment with cooking times to find the right cook time for you and your family.

    For Rice:
    Kaizen cooks a lot faster than regular rice! Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add a generous amount of salt, add Kaizen rice, and cook for 5-6 minutes.

  • All of our products are made in the USA.

  • If we have pasta in stock, we generally fulfill all orders within 24-48 hours of your purchase. Once shipped, the average transit time is 3 days, though some orders may take up to 5-6 days depending on where you live.

  • We do not offer any refunds on any purchase. If you need to make a change or cancel your order, we allow you to do so within 30 minutes of placing the order. This timeframe is short because we ship fast. Your order confirmation email will contain a link for you to view your order and make changes.

    While our lowcarb protein pasta comes as close to a regular pasta experience as it gets, its not the exact same as regular pasta. For that to happen, you'd need lots of starch and carbs!
