We use regeneratively grown, non-GMO lupini beans that are not sprayed with glyphosate. In addition, we use a third party lab to independently test our pasta and rice regularly for glyphosate. These recent third party lab tests have confirmed "not detected" for glyphosate.

Allergens
We produce our products in a dedicated gluten free facility. We do not use any of the top 8 allergens, with the exception of the Mac & Cheese (which uses dairy). Lupini beans are a legume belonging to the same plant family as peanuts. We would recommend you consult with your doctor before consuming any new food product, including Kaizen.Gluten-Free Certified

In short, instead of regular flour or semolina, we use lupini bean flour! Lupini beans are versatile, low in carbs, and have a great nutrition profile. They have long been considered a superfood and pack a ton of protein, fiber, and nutrients.

For Pasta:
Kaizen cooks a lot faster than regular pasta, in anywhere from 4-6 minutes. This time varies by shape, so please reference the packaging instructions, make sure you boil in generously salted water, and not overcook! We invite you to experiment with cooking times to find the right cook time for you and your family.
For Rice:
Kaizen cooks a lost faster than regular rice! Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add a generous amount of salt, add Kaizen rice, and cook for 5-6 minutes. -

If we have pasta in stock, we generally fulfill all orders within 24-48 hours of your purchase. Once shipped, the average transit time is 3 days, though some orders may take up to 5-6 days depending on where you live.

We do not offer any refunds on any purchase. If you need to make a change or cancel your order, we allow you to do so within 30 minutes of placing the order. This timeframe is short because we ship fast. Your order confirmation email will contain a link for you to view your order and make changes.
While our lowcarb protein pasta comes as close to a regular pasta experience as it gets, its not the exact same as regular pasta. For that to happen, you'd need lots of starch and carbs!
If you are unsure whether our pasta is right for you, please only purchase our smallest offering, a 2-pack. This way you can try Kaizen and see if its a product you and your family can enjoy. If this is your first time trying Kaizen, we highly recommend starting with our Fusilli!

Okay, I didn’t think I could love another shape more than the fusilli and then the Lumache dropped. The little shell-bow shape holds onto sauce so well. I made a cottage cheese alfredo sauce and every bite was perfect!
Also loving that the mac & cheese elbow was swapped to this shape! Definite upgrade! It’s officially earned a permanent spot in my pantry. Please never stop making this shape. 🙏

I've been using these pastas for a while and I love these little ones because they are perfect for my granddaughter and they make a great addition to a healthy veggie dish. I can't believe I forgot to take a photo, but tonight we had an amazing broccoli alfredo with jalapeno cheddar sausage crumbled in it.

I made a batch of homemde macaroni and cheese using the lumache and it was very good! I really like the shape of the pasta because it's similar to traditional macaroni noodles. It cooked up very nicely and the family enjoyed it.

I love Kaizen pasta and have tried to very variety. I have to say so far, the Lumache is my favorite. It has a great texture and flavor and cooks up perfectly even in about 5 minutes! I use it with sauce but mostly in my salads, soups and side dishes. It’s an everyday staple for me!
