Allergens
We produce our products in a dedicated gluten free facility. We do not use any of the top 8 allergens, with the exception of the mac and cheese (which uses dairy). Lupini beans are a legume belonging to the same plant family as peanuts. We would recommend you consult with your doctor before consuming any new food product, including Kaizen.

No Glyphosate
We test our products regularly, our recent independent 3rd party lab testing was not able to detect the presence of any glyphosate in our pasta or rice products.

Diabetic Friendly
We have a lot of customers with diabetes that enjoy our products and have not had any reports of spiked blood sugars. As always, consult your doctor to determine if a particular food is right for you.

Kosher
All of our products, including the pasta, rice, mac and cheese, and lupin flour, are certified Kosher by Oregon Kosher.

In short, instead of regular flour or semolina, we use lupini bean flour! Lupini beans are versatile, low in carbs, and have a great nutrition profile. They have long been considered a superfood and pack a ton of protein, fiber, and nutrients.

1. Bring 6 cups of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and stir. Some foaming is normal.
2. Boil for 5-6 minutes, depending on your desired firmness, while stirring occasionally.
3. Strain the boiled pasta, rinse with water, and return it to the warm pot.
4. Add 1/2 cup dairy milk or cream and the cheese seasoning. Mix well and enjoy!

Optional: Add 2 tbsp butter for a richer flavor.

Kaizen cooks a lot faster than regular mac and cheese, in anywhere from 4-6 minutes. Please reference the packaging instructions, make sure you boil in generously salted water, and do not overcook! It is important you use regular dairy (half and half, light cream, or heavy cream work best). Do not use a plant-based milk.

Taste buds and preferences can vary by person, and cook times can be affected by several factors, including temperature, your stove, and even your altitude. We invite you to experiment with cook times to see what you prefer best!

If we have pasta in stock, we generally fulfill all orders within 24-48 hours of your purchase. Once shipped, the average transit time is 3 days, though some orders may take up to 5-6 days depending on where you live.

We do not offer any refunds on any purchase. If you need to make a change or cancel your order, we allow you to do so within 30 minutes of placing the order. This timeframe is short because we ship fast. Your order confirmation email will contain a link for you to view your order and make changes.

While our lowcarb protein pasta comes as close to a regular pasta experience as it gets, its not the exact same as regular pasta. For that to happen, you'd need lots of starch and carbs!
