            - Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil.
- Add 1 serving of rice and stir well. Some foaming is normal.
- Boil for 6 minutes depending on your desired firmness.
- Strain well. Drizzle with olive oil or butter to bring out optimal flavor.
Our rice cooks very similarly to pasta. In a large pot of boiling water, add a generous amount of salt, add your rice, and cook to your desired firmness. Some foaming is normal. Remember that you will need to strain your rice, and we recommend rinsing it when cooked. We recommend tasting the rice around the 5 minute mark to see if it is to your liking. If you prefer a softer rice, cook it for 1-3 more minutes. Taste buds and preferences can vary by person, and cook times can be affected by several factors, including temperature, your stove, and even your altitude. We invite you to experiment with cook times to see what you prefer best!

We do not use ingredients that are sprayed with glyphosate. We use regeneratively grown, non-gmo lupini beans to make our Kaizen pasta and rice. In addition, we use a third party lab to independently test our products for glyphosate. All recent tests have confirmed “not detected” for glyphosate. We will continue to use a third party lab to test our products regularly.

In short, instead of regular flour or semolina, we use lupini bean flour! Lupini beans are versatile, low in carbs, and have a great nutrition profile. They have long been considered a superfood and pack a ton of protein, fiber, and nutrients.

If we have pasta in stock, we generally fulfill all orders within 48 hours of your purchase. Once shipped, the average transit time is 3-4 days, though some orders may take up to 5-6 days depending on where you live.

We do not offer any refunds on any purchase. If you need to make a change or cancel your order, we allow you to do so within 30 minutes of placing the order. This timeframe is short because we ship fast. Your order confirmation email will contain a link for you to view your order and make changes. While our lowcarb protein pasta comes as close to a regular pasta experience as it gets, its not the exact same as regular pasta. For that to happen, you'd need lots of starch and carbs! If you are unsure whether our pasta is right for you, please only purchase our smallest offering, a 2-pack. This way you can try Kaizen and see if its a product you and your family can enjoy. If this is your first time trying Kaizen, we highly recommend starting with our Fusilli!
